The building work for the school has started in early September and scheduled to complete by the end of November. The school itself is expected to open soon after.

Designed and created by County Hall's own Zen Design Studio, the county hall school of pottery is located in the unused grand lightwell of county hall building. The school is a milestone of the ideology of 'West meets East' championed by county hall.
