BPI

The BPI is the trade association which represents UK record companies. Based on the 2nd Floor of the Riverside Building County Hall, The BPI has the perfect location when it comes to contacting
parliamentarians when lobbying on behalf of its members to change UK legislation. There are approximately 400 record companies who are members of The BPI and include international corporations such as Sony, EMI, Universal and Warner Music.
One of the main assets of BPI being based so centrally is that the meeting rooms are booked to host industry seminars and meetings to gather all sectors of the music industry together. Publishers, Managers, Radio, Agents all gather to The BPI for strategic meetings. As the main boardroom outlooks onto the Marriott Hotel roundabout – the setting makes for a convivial atmosphere and when they walk through The BPI, EVERY visitor remarks on the spectacular views of the Thames river and House of Parliament which are directly opposite.
The BPI is also the central location from where The BRIT Awards are organised. Filming has taken place of artists from within our County Hall offices so there is a rare occasion when you see a flurry of famous faces entering the building.
